DCON Info — Read This!
Hey Supervillains,
DISTRICT CONVENTION IS ONE WEEK AWAY!!! Who’s excited for Anaheim? :)
Things to know:
- If you are going to Anaheim by bus, know when and where you are meeting the rest of your club. Don’t be late!
- Dress code is as follows: Spirit gear (club or divisional) on Friday, business professional on Saturday (semi-formal for Governor’s Ball) and business casual on Sunday. Dress code will be enforced by the Sergeant-at-Arms committee.
- NO FOOD WILL BE SERVED ON FRIDAY. Bring money!
- The list of workshops can be found here — figure out which ones you are attending ahead of time. The convention program can also be viewed online.
- Candidate Profiles are posted on the CNH Cyberkey. If you are a delegate for your club, please read over the House of Delegates and Elections Guide so you know what to expect during the caucus sessions.
And some miscellaneous things:
- The bus/car ride to Anaheim takes around 6 hours (8 hours in traffic), so be prepared for a long trip (i.e. bring snacks, water, etc.)
- Spirit stick is judged by club, not by division. During the convention, the DCON committee will be keeping an eye out for the most spirited clubs. The spirit stick is only awarded to two clubs — will your club win it this year?
Also, congrats to Ryan Suen from Santa Teresa Key Club for being selected as the DCON camera intern!

IMPORTANTE
SVHS: Stud pageant is coming up! We need more guys to turn in applications so if you know a stud please get them to sign up by this Friday! Applications are in Cherbak-Boyd’s room M-15. 
RHS: Royal high school is hosting a basketball tournament!! And ANYONE can join! :D You can make your own teams so get your friends together and dominate! Everyone in the tourney must pay $5 (it goes to charity). This tournament is on march 15th at woodranch park!!! Not in D-42E and you still want to join!! SURE :D just message me or something and we’ll talk specifics. :]
WHS: thanks for coming out to the last DCM!! :D
NPHS, SSHS, TOHS, OCHS: you guys should tell me what’s up so i can post things for you guys ;D i feel like i talk too much about SVHS.

Key Club Basketball Tournament
Date has been set! March 19th.
$5 to play!
5v5, double elimination bracket based!
Teams are not mandatory co-ed.
People outside are welcome, but must have more key club members on the team than outsiders.
Sportsmanship is a must!
Do not let your emotions get the better of you!
You do not have to be a Kobe or Lebron! This is just for fun!
